Best place in town to eat an italian beef

This place got an old vibe to it, like from the late '50's, in my opinion. Not too many tables and it can get a little crowded so be ready to share your extra two seats. Don't worry, it's a good way to make some new lunch pals. 😎

Don Walker's is always been known as a place to get a great Italian beef and it is. However I didn't know they had good Gyros so I finally had one. Really good off the spit and generous amount of meat good sauce. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars as if they put the sauce on for you I'm sure if I would have asked I could have done it. This restaurant has a lot of good food. Not big not fancy but you'll like it

I have been going to Don Walker's for many years great food. Every chance I get I stop and get a combo beef and sausage , or a hoggie steak with everything. Then top it off with fries and a bottle of coke.

Cashier is nice :) so not sure what that guy saying.

After decades in business, still have the best beefs and combos. Never disappointed.

If you want real Chicago style food in a nice homey setting look no further. Dogs, Italian beef, gyros and bbq beef sandwich, cant go wrong

I often judge a new sandwich shop with the quality of their chili cheese dog and cheese fries. I was happy to find no beans in their chili. The fries were slightly undercooked for me. The cheese sauce could have been warmer too. I have a hunch the chili is likely out of a can, but it may be their own recipe. I enjoyed my lunch and it was reasonable.I'll have to stop back and try their Italian Beef. Definitely a retro spot with an old jukebox. Too bad the tableside controllers no longer work.

Maxwell dog and chicken sandwich were delicious. Fries were fresh and crispy.

I read the reviews and was in the neighborhood so I thought I would stop for lunch. The beef looked like the thing to have, so I had to have it. I was familiar with the area so I had not problem finding it. It was busy at lunchtime but there was ample parking. The restaurant was clean and decorated well. So back to the beef. It was good. Good beef and very juicy. I really enjoyed it. Reasonably priced too. I would stop again.

I've been a customer for 9 years, the only reason I keep going back is because of their food. I honestly love it. However, the cashier ALWAYS gives me attitude when I call to place my order. When I arrived to pick up my order I asked if I could pay for it while I wait for it. She rolled her eyes and with an attitude she asked what was the name on the order. Then I asked her what was up with her attitude and what was her name. AS SOON AS SHE GAVED ME HER NAME SHE CHANGED HER TONE OF VIOICE REAL QUICK. My coworkers stopped going there because of her. I would of rate this way higher but in any business you cant treat your paying customers that way. We are the reason why you get paid! Unfortunately I will MORE THAN LIKELY NOT RETURN! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE KEY!!!

I've lived in Aurora my entire life, 42yrs. This has satisfied my taste buds for soooo many years,! May it be their Burgers, Gyros, or their ever popular, ever famous Italian Beefs, even the Cheese Sticks!. I'm in the process of moving out of state, with that being said, Thank You! Your service, delicious Ma, & Pa cuisine, consistant committment to Happy full Belly's, I will truly miss you, Mr. & Mrs. Walker

Traditional I have been coming here since I was a kid & I'm pushing 50 now I love this place!!

Half pound steak and fried mushrooms the bomb.try not to look too white though or you may have to turn around and leave. biased

Very nice sandwich place, I will get a sandwich here again when I'm back in the area. This is one of the few places in Aurora where you can get a pork tenderloin sandwich. This alone is reason to go here.

The food is good however the cashier (younger lady who is always there) is extremely rude. She threw my fries on the table and has a terrible attitude EVERY time.

One of those wonderful little hole in the wall joints that everyone in town knows and loves. Great delicious Chicago style sandwiches and other sorts of food. Friendly staff. Great little atmosphere too. An Aurora staple.

Still good food, pleasant people

I really enjoyed stopping in to grab a bite to eat! I love the atmosphere that they have with all the old-school Diner styling! They food that I ordered was also well worth the price.

We ordered three beefs, juicy, they were excellent. Only minor issue was the 30 minute wait because they were busy. Ended up being 20, so not so bad. The beef was very good.

Oh my goodness where to even start!The meat is nice and juicy.The cheese is creamy and very delicious.And over all the interior is amazing I always love the 1950s look! They’re fast at making the food and it’s at a very low price so it’s basically a faster portillos! But even taster!Would highly recommend for a quick bite to eat.

Delicious food, quick service! I had always driven by and never stopped until my son suggested that we go there today. I'm so glad we did!!! Will definitely come back!
